Life is good!

I've been reorganizing my sewing room. I went to IKEA and bought lots of bookcases with bins and I'm filling
them all to the brim. Hopefully, most of my stash will finally find a new home in my sewing room and not in
every closet. Now, that my daughter has a job (woohoo!!!!) I can use her room and closet for the overflow. I threw away 2-33 gal garbage bags of scraps and items that weren't worth keeping. I have another 5 bags to donate. It seems like such a pity to get rid of so much but I can't live with the clutter anymore. I need to be able to work in an organized space. Too much clutter doesn't help the creative process. I still need to get another 8 bin unit and am waiting for the store to be restocked. I can't wait to share what I've been up to.

Cat or person?

What a funny kitty!!

A little bit of fun

I've started a new quilt. Another?? You ask. I just can't help myself. I think I might have bit off more than I can chew, but what the heck, I am a glutton for punishment. This one is a very complicated but beautiful quilt by Sue Garman called
Friends of Baltimore. I will post a pic of my first block in progress after I get some shut eye. It's very late and I had such trouble setting this blog up tonight. Nothing worked and after intensive (several hours)research I found out my updated IE9 browser was too updated to handle the templates. My Firefox browser was too outdated and didn't work...so....I now have the updated Firefox and am in business. I guess google needs to do some adjustment on their end to handle all these updates. Now, it's time to get some sleep.
